Yashua Flemming

king yash

Yashua Flemming 15 years old, 60 kg.

Yashua Flemming, better known by his ring name “King Yash” is one of England’s most exciting young boxing talents. A slick, explosive boxer with razor-sharp technique and dazzling speed, Yashua has already built an impressive reputation at both national and international levels.

Hailing from Streatham, South London, Yashua first stepped into a boxing gym at six years old, channeling his energy into a passion that quickly turned into mastery. Training out of TM Boxing Gym, he has carved a remarkable amateur career, earning four national titles and a European gold medal — an exceptional achievement for a fighter of his age.

In 2023, at just 14 years old, Yashua captured the EUBC European Schoolboys Championship (Under 48kg) title, proudly representing Team England and bringing home gold against the best young fighters across the continent. Domestically, he has remained dominant, winning multiple England Boxing national championships across the Schools and Junior divisions, boasting a near-perfect amateur record of 28 wins from 29 bouts.

A member of the England Boxing Performance Pathway, Yashua continues to hone his craft at national training camps, refining the speed, footwork, and tactical brilliance that have made him such a formidable competitor. His slick movement, sharp counter-punching, and calm under pressure show a ring IQ well beyond his years.

Outside the ring, Yashua remains grounded, mentoring younger boxers at his club and giving back to the boxing community that shaped him. When he’s not training or competing, he enjoys playing football on Streatham Common, listening to music, and spending time with his family.

Yashua suffered serious leg injuries in a bike accident in September 2024. He has been out of action for the 2024-2025 season as he focuses on recovery and a determination to return to international boxing for the beginning of the new season in 2025.
