Meet Yashua “King Yash” Flemming and Dylan Gibson – two of England’s most promising amateur boxers. Both are three-time England Boxing national champions, both are British champions and both represent England in international tournaments.
At just 16 years old, Yashua and Dylan have already demonstrated high achievement, relentless hard work, true sportsmanship, and unwavering dedication in the ring.
They share a story straight out of Hollywood:
They first met in the ring as young opponents competing against each other. However, this fight led them to respect each other both inside and outside of the ring as they recognised in each other: a shared drive, discipline, and determination to succeed.
Their shared mindset and respect for one another quickly turned into a strong friendship and an even stronger training partnership. Together, they’ve grown from promising local prospects to international contenders, pushing each other to reach new heights every step of the way.
Yash and Dylan’s journey is only just beginning. With ambitions to win elite amateur titles; compete at the Olympics and eventually turn professional, the boys are training harder than ever.
The boys have so far achieved every goal that they have set for themselves, but reaching these aims has not been easy. There have been losses, failures and injuries that have threatened to destroy their careers even before they have properly started.
What sets Yash and Dylan apart is the way they have responded to failure – with tears, laughter and a renewed determination to work even harder to get to the top.
Since March 2023 when they were both 13 years old, Yash and Dylan have been posting regularly on TikTok and Instagram documenting the highs and lows of their boxing journey.
Their social media has been a spectacular success with their videos being viewed hundreds of millions of times.
With hundreds of thousands of followers and growing reach, their platforms offer a behind-the-scenes look at their training, competitions, and life as young athletes chasing greatness — with plenty of grit, humour, and heart along the way.
Dylan was named Best Junior Boxer in London in 2025.
Yashua was awarded Boxer of the Tournament at the 2023 European National Schools Championships for his standout performances.
